Who?

Berna is a stop-motion artist who loves to create sets and puppets while writing new ideas. She holds a BFA in Scenography, Costume Design, and Puppetry. She did her Erasmus+ traineeship at Mielenero Animation Studio in Italy.
She completed MOMAKIN’s 9-month “StopMoLab” stop-motion industry training program. She participated in the BAU “Animist Animation Directing” course, worked on a hybrid short film as a director, and set designer. She was awarded Erasmus Mundus scholarship to study RE:Anima Joint Masters in animation at LUCA, Aalto and Lusofona Universities.
She loves to learn different techniques to get as creative as possible to specialize in hybrid filmmaking with greener solutions.
